Job Details
Requires in-depth experience and knowledge of SAP financial modules, SAP integration points as well as accounting, tax, inter-company and finance business processes. Entails collaborative interaction and coordination with all peers, team members, business partners and management. Perform analysis to design and/or modify procedures that solve complex problems using information technology, keeping in mind the capacity and limitations of the technology available. Design, document, develop, and test systems in accordance with the company and IT strategic plans utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 5 + years experience designing, building and implementing business solutions using information technology or in related field. 3-5 years experience in Accounting in a Manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 + years experience configuring FI/CO in SAP.
• Extensive working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Legal Consolidations, General Ledger, Profit Center Accounting, Cost
Center Accounting, Fixed Assets and Materials Management and Sales & Distribution integration.
• Experience with mySAP, ECCS (Enterprise Controlling Consolidations), BPS (Business Planning & Simulation), SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and COPA (Profitability Analysis).
• Prior experience with upgrades, deployments and rollouts of functionality within a global setting.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or IT preferred
• Experience leading and mentoring a development team is desirable.
